2017 Egremont Red
This is a full bodied, robust wine perfect for wild game or red meats. We blend in an small amount of the new cold tolerant grape Frontenac, developed in the University of Minnesota hybrid program, to add complexity in colour, taste and aroma. Plan to be surprised at the depth of this wine!

This smooth, balanced, medium bodied, deep ruby red wine has cranberry, cherry and blueberry notes with a gentle earthiness and soft velvety oak tannins on the palate. There is a lovely jammy nose with dark red fruits, leather, anise and baking spices. It will be a great accompaniment to dark chocolate, Margherita pizza, filet mignon wrapped in bacon, wild game, venison, beef Bourguignon, or just on its own.
This wine is a wonderful fusion of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and the heavy deep coloured red wine grape Frontenac.
