Wine Tastings:
Tastings are a great way to try our wines. In our store, or on our patio, Friday to Sunday 12-6, or outside business hours by appointment (519-381-1112), select any three wines from our tasting menu for $10. Each $10 tasting fee is waived with the purchase of 2 bottles of wine per person tasting.
Bookings for parties of eight or more

Wine and Chocolate Tastings:
Looking for something a bit different? Try a wine and chocolate tasting. Gather a group of friends and sample four wines with four different types of chocolate. We use Brix wine chocolate, made especially for wine pairings. Enjoy for $20 per person. Blind Wine Tastings:
Channel your inner Sommelier and try a blind wine tasting! Start with introductions and samples of six of our wines, then sample four wines in a blind tasting. Indoor Wine Store
Searching for unique wine themed items or gifts for the wine lover in your life? We carry a large array of wine related merchandise, artisanal glassware and wine themed artwork. Cork removers, wine bottle holders, wine chillers, wine games, wine themed clothing, wine ornaments and much more.
Wine and merchandise can be purchased from our indoor store Saturday 12-6.
Searching for a nice walk to get away from things? We have groomed trails just waiting for you to walk (or ski in the winter). Free parking. Drop in for a glass of wine to take along on your walk, or enjoy a glass of wine on our patio after your time out. Depending on weather conditions we may also have a nice warming fire on the patio.
Dogs (on leash) are always welcome to walk the trails with you.
Games:
Check out our games (such as lawn Jenga and beanbag toss -we have many), or ping pong paddles and play on our patio, or if it is raining, play under our Shade Sail over the patio, or move into our event space (if available).
Parties:
Interested in booking our event space for a small party or company gathering? We can set the space up for a group of people (approximate maximum depending on requirements) and can help arrange a catered meal complemented with our wines. Interested in booking our event space for a small gathering? We can set the space up for a group of 10 to 30 people (approximate maximum depending on requirements) and can arrange anything from snacks to a catered meal, complemented with our wines. Rental fees are waived for small groups if one bottle of wine is purchased per person attending your event. For larger groups rental is $250 per day. Interested in booking our covered patio space or grounds for a gathering? We can set the space up for your group (maximum number of guests depends on your requirements) and can help to arrange anything from snacks to a catered meal, complemented with our wines. The patio may not normally be available for rental during our business hours as food service, wine tastings and entertainment are using it. Help us get our wine into your favorite local restaurant.
Here’s how it works:
- You talk to your favorite restaurant about our product.
- Have them call us at 519 466 0157 to set up a tasting appointment.
- Make sure that you email us that you have set this tasting appointment up – email info@altonfarmsestatewinery.com with your name and contact information, the restaurant name, the person who is the wine decision maker, and their contact information.
- Once we get our second case lot order into this restaurant, we will give you an Alton Farms Winery gift certificate for $150 as a thank you.
Easy! But these need to be new restaurants, not ones that have just run out of our stock.
