It is usually difficult to find Ontario Wine Grapes for sale, but this year Alton Farms Estate Winery has decided to help you with this issue by selling a portion of our home grown Wine grapes.
| Grape Varieties Expected to be available (quantities depends on cropload versus predicted sales): Cabernet Franc – 1 Tonne expected, Cabernet Sauvignon- 0.5 Tonne expected, Riesling – 0.5 Tonne expected, Vidal – 0.5 Tonne expected, Sauvignon Blanc (very limited), Marechal Foch – 0.3 Tonne expected, Aberarder White – 1 Tonne expected, Baco Noir – 1 Tonne expected, Frontenac – 0.2 Tonne expected, Regent – 0.2 Tonne expected, Chambourcin – 0.2 Tonne expected, Lucy Kuhlmann – 0.2 Tonne expected, Petite Verdot (very limited) Other varieties may be available but in limited quantities – ask if you are interested in a particular variety. |
| Details (for grape ordering in season): You will need to be on a list to get significant quantities of wine grapes, i.e. let us know in advance. A 50% deposit will ensure that you get your grapes – orders with a deposit will get first filling. Smaller quantities will be available for u-pick by appointment or during our normal open hours. Deposit is non-refundable if grapes are available, though we will refund it if an order cannot be filled. Email info@altonfarmsestatewinery.com with your request or call 519 466 0157. We will contact you as the grapes are becoming available. Grapes will need to be picked / picked up within a day or 2 unless other arrangements are made. Grapes not picked up within the timeframe will be sold to other patrons. Grapes will be sold by the weight of uncrushed unstemmed bunches. Grape boxes might be available depending on demand Crush pails might be available depending on demand Those that pay a deposit will have preference for grape varieties and a discounted price on the grapes at picking. Grape Crush and Destem service will be available for larger orders at a fee. |
