It is usually difficult to find Ontario Wine Grapes, but this year Alton Farms Estate Winery has decided to help you with this issue by selling a portion of our local Wine grapes.
| Grape Varieties Expected to be available (quantities depends on cropload versus predicted sales): Cabernet Franc (sold out), Cabernet Sauvignon (sold out), Riesling (crushed, pressed and available in 19L pails), Vidal (crushed, pressed and available in 19L pails), Sauvignon Blanc (sold out), Marechal Foch (sold out), Aberarder White (sold out), Baco Noir ((crushed grapes available in 19L pails), Frontenac (sold out), Regent (1 pail available of crushed grapes), Chambourcin (crushed, pressed and available in 19L pails), Lucy Kuhlmann (sold out) Petite Verdot (sold out) Other varieties may be available but in limited quantities – ask if you are interested in a particular variety. |
| Details (for grape ordering in season): You will need to be on a list to get grapes, i.e. let us know in advance. A 50% deposit will ensure that you get your grapes – orders will a deposit will get first filling. Deposit is non-refundable if grapes are available, though we will refund it if an order cannot be filled. Email info@altonfarmsestatewinery.com with your request or call 519 466 0157. We will contact you as the grapes are becoming available.Grapes will need to be picked up within a day or 2 unless other arrangements are made. Grapes not picked up within the timeframe will be sold to other patrons. Grapes will be hand picked by us at optimum Ontario Ripeness. Grapes will be sold by the weight of uncrushed unstemmed bunches. Grape boxes might be available depending on demand Crush pails might be available depending on demand Those that pay a deposit will have preference for grape varieties and a discounted price on the grapes at picking. Grape Crush and Destem service will be available for larger orders at a fee. |
