2018 Marechal Foch Rosé Noir

This is not your Mama’s Rosé. Our Rosé Noir is a crisp fruity wine blended from Marechal Foch and Chambourcin grapes, that is soft on the palate with notes of ripe red fruits and a clean refreshing sweetness. It has a lovely strawberry, cranberry, caramel and honey nose with aromas of ripe cherries. This is a picnic basket wine, and will be a great accompaniment to garlic buttered shrimp, smoked salmon, smoked ham, goat cheese burgers, dried fruits or just on its own.

2017 Aberarder White

Aberarder White is one of our signature varieties.  This grape is only grown at the Aberarder Vineyard of Alton Farms Estate Winery, hence the name.  We love this grape, as it ripens early, is well balanced and has little susceptibility to disease.  It makes a great wine by itself (but we don’t have enough to make a 100% wine… yet) so we blend it with Riesling and Sauvignon Blanc to make our signature Aberarder White.

Tasting notes for this wine are :

This light easy drinking white wine has aromas of peaches, pears and green grass on the nose, a citrus tang, a smooth clean finish with a perceived sweetness.  It is a blend of Aberarder White, Sauvignon Blanc and Riesling.  It will be a great accompaniment to fresh fruit or vegetables, roasted chicken with sage, chicken parmesan, sharp old cheeses or just on it’s own.
