The Alton Sheep have moved up their skill-set! After years of carefully enriching and cultivating the soils of the vineyards, their fearless leader – Sheep Nuzzles – has perfected a Vidal Blanc. And to acknowledge the hard work of his friendly, fluffy, fruit loving flock, has named this wine “SHEEP WINE” .
Carefully crafted just for Ewe!
On a serious note: This crisp, light, straw coloured off-dry white wine has green apple and honey notes on the nose and ripe yellow apple notes on the palate. It has a well balanced acidity, a clean mouthfeel, with a tart citrusy finish. It will be a great accompaniment to cheddar cheese, chicken cordon bleu, herb and garlic unripened cheese, Asian foods or just on its own.
Tastings will be offered for a donation to Heaven’s Wildlife Rescue Center.
