White

 

2016 Riesling

This crisp, medium bodied, straw coloured white wine has ripe peaches, citrus blossoms on the nose and a floral bouquet. There is fresh lemon juice, ripe granny smith apples and a perceived sweetness on the palate.

It will be a great accompaniment to a charcuterie platter, roast chicken with a herb rub, smoked pork chops, roast pork load with apricot jelly, or just on its own.

 

2016 Sauvignon Blanc VQA

This medium bodied, pale straw-coloured wine is fresh and tart with a  sweetgrass nose, citrus and floral notes, honey on the tongue and a long smooth finish.

It will be a great accompaniment to pasta with a lemon cream sauce, white fish, such as sole in a lemon butter sauce, goats cheeses, Eggs Benedict, or just on its own.

 

2015 Chardonnay

This medium bodied, well balanced, smooth white wine has honey, pear and green apple notes, a forward sweetness, and a refreshing acidity.

It will be a great accompaniment to smoked ham, aged cheddar, roast poultry, pan fried pickeral, chicken Kiev with garlic mashed potatoes, butter chicken curry, fish chowder, or just on its own.

 

2015 Oak-Aged Chardonnay VQA

This medium bodied, well balanced, complex white wine has vanilla, apple, Bosc pear, citrus, and oak notes with a clean buttery finish.

It will be a great accompaniment to a Sunday brunch, brie and smoked cheeses, pork pate, or just on its own.

 

2015 Oak-Aged Sauvignon Blanc

This full bodied creamy smooth white wine has a smoky nose with candied fruit and floral notes. The palate is ripe citrus fruits, caramel, and pineapple.

It will be a great accompaniment to cheese platters, Rosemary encrusted chicken or pork, or just on its own.

 

Red

2015 Gamay VQA

This light, easy drinking ruby red wine, has a refreshing acidity, is fruity with aromas of wild strawberry and cherry jello on the nose, and cranberry on the palate.

This is a picnic basket wine, and will be a great accompaniment to a ploughman’s lunch, pork roast, dried fruit and nuts, turkey dinner, or just on its own.

 

2013 Red Dog Red VQA

This earthy, smooth, medium bodied red wine has a hint of leather on the nose and a smooth lingering finish. It is a harmonious fusion of four red wines.

It will be a great accompaniment to salmon dishes, brie cheeses, dry beef ribs, stews, or just on its own.

 

2015 Cabernet Franc VQA

This medium bodied ruby red wine has ripe dark fruit on the palate, a long finish with round smooth tannins.   It has a lovely “Oh my God that’s good” peppery nose with ripe dark fruit, baking spices and soft smoke.

It will be a great accompaniment to prime rib, spare ribs with bbq sauce, pizza, bacon wrapped filet mignon, or just on its own.

 

2015 Cabernet Sauvignon VQA

This balanced, full bodied, deep ruby red wine has ripe red fruit, medium tannins, and dark chocolate on the palate.  There is a lovely, soft, smoky nose with aromas of ripe red berries, anise and baking spices.

It will be a great accompaniment to prime rib, french onion soup, steak with a blue cheese dressing, beef ribs, meat lovers pizza, or just on its own.

 

2014 Aberarder Red

This elegant, full bodied, garnet red wine is a well balanced blend of cabernet grapes. It has a long smooth smoky finish with leather, licorice, tobacco and baking spices on the nose and ripe dark fruits and baking spices on the tongue.

It will be a great accompaniment to roast beef, pizza, blue cheese, mushroom swiss burgers, or just on its own.
