The host organizing committee is excited t o announce that the 23rd annual\, three-day event will be held at Centenni al Park\, June 16-18 Father’s Day weekend.  And Alton Farms Estate Wine ry will be supplying the wine - see you there!\n\n \;\n\nCentennial Pa rk is a perfect location for the ultimate Father’s Day weekend event. T his beautiful waterfront park is a perfect venue for Festivals and concert s!\n\n“The Sarnia Kinsmen Ribfest has become a marque family- friendly e vent with an annual attendance of 15\,000” said Vicky Praill Special Eve nts and Sports Marketing Co-ordinator for Tourism Sarnia Lambton. “Last year we had 25\,600\, that’s about 10\,000 above average. This three-d ay event offers\, fall off the bone ribs\, great food\, family entertainme nt and well know musical acts\, that will surely be enjoyed by residents a nd visitors alike. This event has truly become a signature event for our c ommunity.”\n\nThe Sarnia Kinsmen Ribfest committee will release the Numb er of professional rib teams and entertainment in the new year. There will also be an artesian area as well as additional food vendors and a beer te nt.\n\nThe Sarnia Kinsmen Club has been serving and building the Sarnia Co mmunity for over 90years and all monies raised goes back into the communit y and local charities.\n\nOver the years\, they have raised over 1 million dollars for the community and supported many community initiatives.\n\n “We support over 30 charities and initiatives\, such as the kids playgro unds\, Baxter park upgrades\,  the Inn of the Good Shepard\, Salvation Ar my\, Kidney Foundation\, Boys Scouts\, Air Cadets\, Heart and Stroke\, Cys tic Fibrosis\, Cancer Society just to name a few.
