DESCRIPTION:\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nSunday September 8th\, 1-4 pm\, Joan Spalding Li
 ve on the patio at Alton Farms.\n\nOur patio is covered so a little rain\,
  or a lot of sun\, is not a problem.\n\nSelect a glass of wine from our de
 licious handmade\, on-site crafted varieties\, or a wine slushie?  Charc
 uterie boards and other snacks are available.\n\nWood Fired Pizzas will al
 so be available.\n\nJoan came from a small town in Southwestern Ontario ca
 lled Mooretown which\, at the time\, had a population of about 60 people. 
 She learned how to play rhythm guitar at the young age of 11 and had alrea
 dy been playing piano years.\n\nAs a guest she has sung with The Rhythm Ra
 mblers (Lloyd Sarrs)\, The Jubilares\, Roger Quick and the Rainbows\, plus
  many others. She formed her own band "The Foggy Mountain Band" which incl
 uded a local fiddle player (Bill Alexander)\, her brother on banjo\,  her
  sister on piano and herself on guitar.\n\nJoan worked across the USA and
  Canada.  And she had the honour of singing the National Anthem as well a
 t many local hockey games and events.\nAccomplishments\nJoan is a three-ti
 me winner of the Canadian Open Singing Contest in Ontario and has been a f
 eatured guest on the Jimmy Phair Show\, Sun Parlour Country\, The Walters 
 Family Show and CKNX radio show in Wingham\, Ontario.\n\nJoan is a singer/
 songwriter who plays many instruments including the guitar\, double reed h
 armonica\, banjo and mandolin.\n\nShe has recorded in Nashville with Howar
 d Walker and Gary Buck as her producers\, released songs in Europe which w
 ent to the Top 10 in the charts.\n\nShe can be found performing every week
 end in Southwestern Ontario and has performed many times with well known C
 anadian artists at Purple Hill Country Hall in Thorndale\, Ontario.\n\nwww
