 hristina Bell hails from Goderich\, Ontario\, and has been a member of the
  Canadian Opera Company Chorus since 2015. As a soloist\, she is frequentl
 y featured in concert\, opera\, and oratorio around Ontario and the world.
   She is excited to be featured in multiple venues across Southwestern On
 tario this summer and had the pleasure of recently making her debut with t
 he North York Concert Orchestra as Paquette in Candide.  A graduate from 
 University of Toronto with a Diploma in Operatic Performance Christina san
 g the roles of Mrs. Baggett in Footsteps in Campbell House\, Lady with a C
 ake Box in Dominick Argentos’ Postcard from Morocco\, Lady Billows in Br
 ittens’ Albert Herring\, Donatella in Encouters\, as well as being a par
 t of Last Days. a new production with Tim Albery and David Fallis.  Over 
 the years Christina has attended the Mainstage/Ensemble Programs at Opera 
 on the Avalon\, The Centre for Opera Studies in Italy\, Halifax Summer Ope
 ra Festival\, St.Andrews Summer Opera Workshop.  Other recent operatic pe
 rformances include Countess in Le nozze di Figaro\, Vitellia in La Clemenz
 a di Tito\, Liliana in Miracle Flight 571 with the Hamilton Philharmonic O
 rchestra\, Portia in Le marchand de Venise\, Cousin Hebe from Gilbert &amp
 \; Sullivans’ HMS Pinafore\, Mrs.Grose in The Turn of the Screw\, Fiordi
 ligi in Così fan tutte\, Helena in Brittens’ A Midsummer Night’s Drea
 m.\n\nIn 2015 Christina had the privilege of representing Canada with the 
 Toronto Korean-Canadian Choir as a soloist for Vivaldis’ Gloria and sang
  Arirang as the soprano soloist during the performance of the Korean Folk 
 Songs with Symphonia Toronto.  Christina has been a member of the Canadia
 n Opera Company Chorus since 2015 and when she is not on a stage\, she can
  be found exploring her passion for arts administration and management.  
 She is the Opera &amp\; Pubic Events Administrator at the University of To
 ronto and most recently took on the role of the Company Manager for the Ba
 nff Center: Opera in the 21st Century program.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nSandra Horst 
 is the Canadian Opera Company’s Price Family Chorus Master\, where her r
 epertoire spans more than seventy operas.  As Head of Opera at the Univer
 sity of Toronto she has most recently conducted Aaron Copland’s The Tend
 er Land\, A Comedic Trilogy triple bill and A Tale of Two Cities by Arth
 ur Benjamin. Last season she also made her Edmonton Opera conducting debut
  in Orfée+.   She was recently Head Coach and Assistant Conductor of Bro
 tt Opera\, is a regular guest faculty member of Opera in the 21st Century 
 at the Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity and a frequent Metropolitan Op
 era Laffont Competition judge. Previously she has been Chorus Master and A
 udition Consultant for Opera Theatre of St Louis\, Chorus Master of Edmont
 on Opera\, and music staff of the COC\, Juilliard Opera Centre\, Chautauqu
 a Institute and Boston Lyric Opera. Recognized as one of 100 Alumni of Ach
 ievement\, in 2019 she received an Honorary Doctorate in Music from Wilfri
